New Volunteers
New Volunteers are always welcome at Radio Heartbeat.
It is great fun being involved and you are doing something of value to the patients at the hospital.
If you would like to join us please call Keith Symes at The Surgery on 98425900 or drop me an email at k.symes@thesurgery.net.au
We are always interested in new Radio Announcers but if this isn't your bag don't worry we can use help with our website; looking after our equipment; fundraising and general promotion of the station in the health service.
Pop in and have a look at the Radio Station when you are at the Hospital.

Taylor & Keely join the Crew
It is great to have young announcers on board.
Taylor & Keely both students at Albany Senior High School are providing excellent shows on air and broadening the music played. Tune in and listen to Keely on Wednesday afternoons and Taylor on Thursday afternoons.
At the moment Keely & Taylor are in the middle of their exams and we wish them all the best with their results.

Doug Trowse is now one of our most experienced volunteer announcers.
Doug and Keith are shown in this photo with the original radio equipment donated by the ABC which was used in the ABC studios in Albany for many years.
Doug & Keith first trained in this equipment and are now using more modern Elan Audio equipment purchased with the aid of a Lotteries Commission Funding Grant.
Keith, the Coordinator of Radio Heartbeat said that Doug has developed into a high quality announcer whose programs and skills are in demand in Albany and overseas in the USA.
